Maďarská obranná exportní agentura (zkráceně VEX) byla založena v roce 2021 jako organizace ve 100% vlastnictví státu. Hlavním cílem je podpora maďarského obranného průmyslu v jeho rozvoji. VEX si klade za cíl pomáhat společnostem při prodeji jejich výrobků a schopností v zahraničí.
Maďarská vláda pověřila Maďarskou obrannou exportní agenturu výhradním právem pomáhat při prodeji výrobků prohlášených za přebytečné pro obranné účely (inkurrencia), provádět příslušné postupy a připravovat prodeje.
VEX uzavírá dohody o spolupráci s maďarskými obrannými společnostmi a zajišťuje prezentaci výrobků a služeb na mezinárodních výstavách obranného průmyslu s jednotnou image maďarského stánku.
